Organisational Practices
This section collects a series of practices describing all the skills, competencies, and processes necessary for the project to remain effective, both during and after its life-cycle. Those practices are called โorganisationalโ as they reflect the necessary organisational capacities that need to be developed and maintained in coherence during and after the project to realise Fab City Hubs.
The definition of organisational practices may relate to specific project activities or to practices of care, maintenance, and nurturing that are developed during the project implementation.
The organisational practices hereafter developed served to monitor and evaluate the projectโs effectiveness and performance in implementing the CENTRINNO approach with the pilot cities. They reflect how the projectโs approach has been materialised at the pilot level, which provides insights on the potential of maintaining and further advancing the projectโs outcomes and the systemic impact this may entail.
The definition of organisational practices is based on the ten FCH principles. Hence, the organisational practices, much like the principles that underpin their definition, provide a framework to monitor city-level exploration, rather than a definitive set of rules that need to be followed.
It is expected that there will be different arrangements of organisational practices across different cities.
A starting point for the definition of the organisational practices is provided by the interpretation of the FCH principles as sets of practices aiming to enhance citiesโ capacities for implementing FCHs. They have been clustered according to the three foundational aspects constituting Fab City Hubs :
