A great diversity of stakeholders can take part in regenerative processes, such as the setting up and maintenance of FCHs. Everyone is concerned and every voice counts. While developing the process, efforts are required to create inclusive communities of practice and facilitate conversations and discussions among local stakeholders which steer the research process towards alternative solutions that are socially and environmentally sustainable, but also locally significant. Engagement will differ according to the type of strategies.
